Not everyone has an opportunity to dine with a president, but at Mount Rushmore, people do it every day. The newly renovated Carvers Café, with seating for 300, offers visitors a delicious array of food selections, served with a commanding view of the presidential sculptures.
The food-court style café at Mount Rushmore offers visitors multiple food stations with exhibition kitchens, designed to satisfy every guest. Whether seeking something as simple as an espresso and freshly baked cinnamon bun, or a full course meal, guests can enjoy their selections inside near the expansive Dakota slate fireplace or on the Grandview Terrace on a bright summer’s day, all in full view of the memorial.
Arrive early and enjoy a “Monumental Breakfast” as the sun rises over the Black Hills. Or select from lunch and dinner choices such as, mouthwatering personal pizzas, juicy pot roast, natural beef or bison burgers, succulent herb-roasted chicken and soothing soups, American Buffalo Stew and Teddy’s Bison Chili. Vegetarian choices are always on the menu.
Top off your dining experience with a monumental scoop of Mount Rushmore’s famous ice cream or a rich piece of fudge. And there are always fresh bakery items to satisfy that sweet tooth.
Dress is always casual and the setting is always relaxed at the Carvers Café.
