Bosun Chair Bakery
Thick 3/8 inch steel cables lowered the carvers in front of the 500 foot face of the mountain in swing seats called "Bosun Chairs." While suspended and in varied weather conditions, the carvers used jackhammers to drill into the granite.
Named for the cable seat devices used by the courageous workers, Bosun Chair Bakery features freshly baked caramel pecan rolls, addictively delicious pies, tempting cookies, decadent brownies, mouth-watering muffins and sensational scones. Your sweet tooth will never feel more satisfied.
